I’ve been really enjoying Arc Browser this past week, it feels really fresh and actually taking web browsing in a better direction. It’s nice to not center everything around search and have a place for your things instead. Though it did take a while to get all my tabs in order.

I found a gross hack today to host a Single Page App on GitHub pages with no fallback URLs. You can specify a 404.html file which is served for “not-found” pages, with a http 404 code.

Trying to create a macOS app that talks to a USB device and it feels impossible. Between finding documentation from the hardware provider, navigating Apple DriverKit or trying to spin out a process and run a CLI, its way too complicated.

lit.dev/blog/2022-02-07-eleventy/ This is an interesting integration. I've not seen the template/shadowroot combo before, and it's polyfill-able too. Web components rendered inline could be a good reason not to choose an SPA next time.
